Organisation of the Congress

The Congress is organised by the World Federation for Culture Collections (WFCC). The WFCC is an international multidisciplinary Federation within the International Union of Microbiological Societies and the International Union of Biological Sciences and is dedicated to fostering the interests of culture collections and their users and promoting and supporting international programs for the conservation and use of microbial, cellular, and genetic resources. The WFCC interacts with international governmental and non-governmental organisations to further these objectives.
