Accommodation

A range of accommodation (single, twin, double and apartments) has been reserved for delegates at competitive prices. Please choose the accommodation that best suits your needs and forward to the Congress Secretariat on the Registration Form. The name, address and rate of the hotel you have booked will be acknowledged in the confirmation letter.

RATES
Accommodation held by the Congress Secretariat has been secured at advantageous rates for Congress delegates. Only bookings made through the Congress Secretariat will secure these rates.

TERMINOLOGY
"Double" refers to a room with one double bed. "Twin" refers to a room with two beds. "Single" refers to a single occupancy room. A "Junior Suite" contains 1 x queen bed in the bedroom and 1 x sofa bed in the living room. A "King Suite" has similar beds but the rooms are larger. A one bedroom apartment comprises 1 x queen and 1 x sofa bed, a two bedroom apartment is made up of 1 x queen, 1 x single bed and 1 x sofa bed, and a three bedroom apartment is made up of 2 x queen beds, 1 x single bed and 1 x sofa bed. Accommodation rates are room only and do not include breakfast.

PAYMENT
A minimum of one night's room rate is required in order to secure the room. Without payment, the Congress Secretariat cannot guarantee your room. Full payment of accommodation is recommended, particularly as at the time of print, the Australian dollar has a very favorable exchange rate against the US$. Your payment will be passed on to the hotel and any outstanding monies on your account must be settled by you on check out.

HOW TO BOOK
To book please complete Section D of your registration form indicating the accommodation you wish to reserve.

LATE ARRIVALS
Please indicate on your registration form or notify the Secretariat in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 1800 hours, failure to do so may result in your room being released by the hotel.

ARRIVAL TIME
Many International flights arrive into Australia in the early morning. Hotel check-in time is 1400hrs. If you are to arrive before this time it is probable that you will not be able to gain access to your room. To guarantee a room to be available for an early arrival you will need to pre-register and pay for your room for the night before. If required please indicate on your registration form.

CONGRESS ACCOMMODATION

All Hotels are within 15 km of the airport, about 20 - 30 minutes by taxi and costing approximately A$25. An airport bus to Congress hotels may be booked in advance. Please advise the Secretariat if required.
