COMMUNICATION FORUM FOR INDONESIAN CULTURE COLLECTION CURATORS

Objectives
@
The forum represents a medium for culture collestion curators in Indonesia to: (1) exchange ideas and experiences, as well as to solve common problems on culture collection management, (2) on voluntary basis or upon request from interested clients, provide consultation and recommendations to solve management problems of culture collestion, and (3) assist the authorities in the implementation of the Convention on Biodiversity with respect to microorganisms.

Organisation

The FORUM consists of members and a coordinator. The members constitute scientists/ researchers who are directly or indirectly involved in culture collection management. The coordinator is elected from and by the members every two years. For the time being, during the initial/nurturing stage, Yayasan KEHATI voluntarily acts as a fascilitator and helps manage the administration of the FORUM.

2. To propose and, if necessary, help update information of the existing culture
collections.
3. To help the authorities on the implementation of the Convention of Biodiversity with
